This class is designed to introduce the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga with modifications created to allow all levels of Hatha yoga practitioners to participate.  Specific emphasis is placed on the potential therapeutic aspects of the practice with detailed information regarding specific body areas that are being therapeutically released and or re-aligned.  Experience Nydiaäó»s approach to altering the practice that include an emphasis on spinal extension and elongation within the traditional postures that allows the Primary series to be used alone as a moderately balanced practice.  Individuals will be encouraged to take rest as needed and will be encouraged to listen to their bodies needs during the practice.  The traditional vinyasa that is typically practiced between each seated posture will be optional so that all levels can participate safely regardless of past Ashtanga experience.
